On the back of many photographs: place, dates and a line or two about being there. But on a few of them there were some informations missing: there was this one that just had the name of a city I had never been to.

As I researched, I became more fascinated: I could find the exact route of a roadtrip Cesar did in 1975 in the south of Brazil. I was able to say that he had actually arrived first in Macao, then Hong Kong, not the opposite – and to top it all off, that he did it by boat.

Would it be possible to retrace Papa's life steps just with his pictures? How about traveling with nothing but my great-uncle's pictures? Would it be possible to identify places in cities I've never been to with pictures from 30 years ago?
