DanzaMedicina is a body psychotherapy practice that understands dance-movement as a clinical tool for women. Lead by Morena Cardoso, body-psychotherapist and master in Clinical Psychology, the method has already been presented in a dozen countries, with more than 600 students in workshops and retreats, and another 5 thousand participants in virtual courses.
In 2024, DanzaMedicina will travel to 6 countries and together, me and Morena conceived a visual identity for the year. It started with a red thread that ended up sewing both of us — evoking the embroidery work women develop during the immersive retreats, a practice I also do as an artist. Here, the lines meet the design and become vectors to dialogue with the amazing images created by the photographer Irmina Walczak.
